Lighting Up Christmas for Everyone

For many of us Christmas means spending time with whānau, sharing good kai and joyfully watching our tamariki opening their presents. However, this is unfortunately not the reality for many New Zealanders. Especially, since the pandemic, more and more people are experiencing hardship and struggling to afford everyday essentials – let alone a Christmas feast with their loved ones.  

That’s why we are supporting the Wellington City Mission's Christmas appeal once again this year and have purchased a gold star in their Walk of Fame. The City Mission will use the proceeds from our koha to make Christmas possible for everyone. Projects like the Social Supermarket or the Christmas Toy store, empower people and families to create their own Christmas in dignity and with intention and care. 

Looking after our Whanaungatanga (our Community) and giving back especially to those in need is close to our hearts, whether it’s here in Aotearoa New Zealand or internationally.
