Giving Back to Green - 2019

trees

A partnership with Trees that Count saw us digging and planting nearly 1000 trees on a sunny August afternoon at our local Mount Victoria.

Some of us had never quite worked that hard outside the office!  There were Health & Safety briefings, regulation high viz vests, muddy gumboots, sweat and blisters.  In 2019, Trees that Count helped to plant almost 300,000 native trees, and thanks to Conservation Volunteers New Zealand and our directors (turned professional diggers), we can enjoy this beautiful future forest!

And to top that some of our most hard working environmentally conscious team members went back to the site another day with their whanau to collect HEAPS of rubbish.  They truly did us all proud.
